WanyuudoEdit

The boss of Act 2, Wanyuudo is a demon that has stolen the souls of women (noticeably courtesans--as revealed from the Vita version), and also Momohime's soul.

Wanyuudo's attacks consist of all fire, and to a lesser extent, poison. It is best if you equiped the Salamander robes if you have found it before hand so you can avoid getting hurt from his flame based attacks. Wanyuudo's main attacks are as follows:

  1. Dash: When you see Wanyuudo turn dark amd blow air out of his nostrils, it is best you avoid this at all costs. This move is unblockable and will destroy your blade if attempted to block or attack. The best strategy is to dodge him and face the other side to attack him. His dash attack can be done in the air or on the ground. If he does this attack on the ground, he will leave a trail of fire in his wake. Touching the fire will burn you minimally, and is easily avoided if you jump and float above it.
  2. Poison Spit: Wanyuudo will put his lips together and turns his face upwards, he will spew balls of poison which will explode when in contact with the ground. To avoid this, roll behind him. This will dodge the entirety of the attack leaving you free to wail on him with your blade
  3. .Fireball Spin Spew: Wanyuudo will spin in place with a red fire aura surrounding him. Fire burns and he will spew fireballs all over the place. He is invulnerable during this time and attacking him directly will kill you. Stop attacking and move about 2/3rds a screen away from him. Quickly attack him.
  4. Lava Drip: Fire will drip from Wanyuudo's mouth, leaving a pool of lava onto the ground. This pool will later pose a minor obstacle. In response: Use a long blade or a long blade-air combo. Don't worry if you track him over a lava pool, your combo will repel any fireballs that leap up at you.L
  5. Lava Pools. They sit on the ground. Fireballs continually pop straight up. Only these fireballs, not the pool can hurt you. The pool just burns you. These are obstacles for chasing Wanyudo, but they aren't that much.
